I wouldn't do playlists if I were you... sounds exhausting! I don't know, I don't even use Spotify so if I want to listen to something in the newsletter I'll just google it or go the to bandcamp.
Do whatever playlist format works for you... There are playlist converter sites out there we can use to port them over. I use soundiiz but there are others.
