I finally saw Sinners. I wanted to see it in IMAX but instead I went to a toddler friendly screening which was honestly not that bad at all. The only reason I picked that screening is because all the others were close to sold out and I refuse to sit in the front of a movie theater.
I also randomly ended up watching Sucker Free City on Youtube and it was pretty bad. Maybe it was better when it dropped? I don’t know. A Spike Lee film set outside of Brooklyn just sounds wrong.
Hm, what else… I spent the better part of the weekend trying to figure out how to snyc the KO2 to the 404. There are no good Youtube tutorials on the subject and I really need to figure this out. If anyone reason this knows how to do it please reply to this email or leave a comment.

NEWS
The Met Gala happened and Andre 3000 used it as an album rollout by dropping a project as soon as he hit the carpet. Quinta Brunson hosted SNL. Amber Ruffin did not get to host the white house correspondent’s dinner and she has been doing tons of press about them pulling the plug on her. It’s officially been 1 Year of Kendrick v Drake. Joe Budden’s co-hosts and Wiz Khalifa all came out as flat earthers.
VIDEOS
Spike and Denzel are back and they’ve brought ASAP Rocky along for the ride. This movie looks like it will be significantly better than Sucker Free City.
This looks like it will be interesting. I’ll probably watch it.
I keep forgetting to listen to this Saba and No I.D. album. I honestly haven’t even really watched this video but I like them as a duo and know the music is good cus they are both dope. I’m gonna play this album soon!
ASAP Nast is like the backpack/lo-fi member of the crew right? I tend to enjoy his music and this song is no different.
ALBUMS
Andre dropped this video as he hit the Met Gala and I was ready to not like it based on it’s description but to be completely honest it’s not bad! I kinda want to sample it for fun.
Roc Marciano celebrated the 15th anniversary oft Marcberg by putting it on streaming.
Khrysis and Elzhi dropped off a new ep. You already know it’s gonna be a banger.
Boldy James and Real Bad Man linked up for an album
Closed Sessions dropped a few remixes of some of my favorites.
Don’t know who Katalyst is but this tracklist is heavy and I am into it.
SINGLES
Fresh Daily got an album dropping soon and his latest single features Scienze.
And speaking of Scienze he got a new joint with Mick Jenkins.
Westside Gunn got Doechii on the remix to a song that he sampled her on.
Amine is in album mode and it’s gonna be a groovy good time.
Tha Alkaholiks re-recorded a bunch of their old songs and put them out as a compilation and while I suspect that streaming royalties are what motivated this move the re-records are… uh, yeah. This song is a legit highlight.
This song is from a whole album by Judah that just dropped.
This song is from a whole album by Celestaphone that just dropped.
This song is from a whole album by Benny the Butcher that just dropped.
This song is from a whole album by Ben Williams that just dropped.
This song is from a whole album by… just kidding. But MIKE and Tony Seltzer are probably gearing up for a whole album tho.
BONUS
Wyatt showed me this video of a comedian named Monique Moses doing a character named Kendrick Lavar Burton. It’s very silly and pretty brilliant.
Okay. see you guys next time.
The Pharcyde put out an EP! I like it more than anything they've done as a ground since 1995.
That Katalyst project is dope. They are a dope collective Jazz ensemble so you will dig the music. Gotta watch Sucker Free City now
