NEWS

The biggest news is that I still need your help winning this Webby award (I know I already said this but it’s pretty big news). We’re in 5th place in the Indie Podcast category and 3rd in the Experimental Innovation category. We have a solid chance of winning but only if you guys vote. I don’t have a huge social media following and don’t have a budget to campaign. I do have this newsletter and whoever is reading this. If that person reading is you then please go vote!

In other news Couchella was this past weekend and the only sets I got to see were Mustard and Lady Gaga. Missy also performed but I missed her set. I heard she came on stage as a car and transformed which sounds crazy but this is Missy we are talking about so anything is possible.

Kendrick dropped a video for Luther and it is wonderful. It’s also directed by Karena Evans who has directed a bunch of Drake videos. Needless to say the ‘search for visual shots at Drake’ is well underway but man I hope we can untangle these two from one another soon.

Madison McFerrin used April Fool’s day to expertly promote her new Willow Smith assisted song and she finally dropped the video for it. It’s a jam.

Has OK Go ever just made a regular video? Are they locked in an eternal struggle with their treadmill video? Who knows. I enjoyed this clip tho.

Cookin Soul dropped Volume 3 of his remix tape.

Dunno who Gangster Doodles is but they dropped a HELLUVA compilation album. It’s also apparently the third volume which means I’ve got two more to discover.
