Latto dropped and it’s being pretty well received. Quavo redid Lenny Kravitz’s Fly Away as a tribute to Takeoff and people seem to like it. An Australian breakdancer named Raygun used the olympic stage to troll the world as as much as I want to talk about it more I won’t. The real star of the Olympic Breaking event was a guy named Jeffro who didn’t make it into the finals but was absolutely incredible. Drake launched a website with 100 gigs of random footage and 3 new songs. Kanye finally dropped Vultures 2 and the general consensus is ho hum.

8/16 - The Lift Off at Secret Pour. This is a solo rap performance with a pretty stacked line up and I don’t really know what I’m going to do yet so it should be interesting to say the least. Tickets are not available online so you gotta pull up to this one to get tickets. The address is 1114 Dekalb Avenue and doors are at 8pm.

ALMANAC OF RAP
Episode two of Almanac features an artist profile of JSWISS and it’s a new format called AOR Live. This format is one where I profile artists and talk to them about current events. It’s a sleeker, more agile version of the show that gives me more flexibility to talk to more people. Good times.
