Oddisee, The Dogg Pound & Nasaan

I spent the weekend in Miami Doral Florida and in classic me fashion didn’t take any photos. I had a good time and ate way too many chicken wings at ungodly hours. I did make my way to the Design District and get caught in a torrential downpour but I didn’t go to the beach or do any of the other things that you’d associate with a trip to Miami.

I also found out that they give out free umbrellas when it rains and I’m talking nice ass umbrellas that can stand up to a bit of wind. All I could wonder was who is paying for this? There were A LOT of umbrellas.

All in all it was a fun trip and I’m pretty sure that Michelle is ready for Radio City this week. The real question is am I ready for the Tanya Morgan show!?

A while ago I was on a really big city pop kick and that’s when I found out about Ginger Root. Well he’s back with some more music and you should listen to it.

Fred Again is really trying to win me over with his latest crop of features and I’ll tell you what, it’s working!

Action Bronson is back and apparently he has his own line of New Balances coming.

Oddisee done did it again. I only got to skim this one but can’t wait to sit with it.

The Dogg Pound dropped an album that is full of everything you want from them.

And while we are on the West Coast Big Hit dropped an Alchemist produced album that is probably pretty good. Full disclosure: I haven’t heard it yet.

Nasaan finally dropped. This is another project that I’ve been looking forward to but haven’t got a chance to listen to.

Lakecia Benjamin dropped some new shit.

I have no idea who Donte Thomas is but the music is great so you listen and let me know what you think.

A new High Water Music release means I’ll probably enjoy the music.
