New Music Tuesday #10: Videos, Singles & Albums

Guess who didn’t have the bandwith to turn one of his drafts into an actual post? This guy! Luckily I have still been tracking releases so I do have that to share with you at least. Didn’t I say that I might be doing that anyway? Yeah well here we are! Consider this my one man mission to restore New Music Tuesday!

Over the weekend Justin Timberlake attempted to go from Man of the Woods to Man of the Cloth by bringing a choir to SNL to remind us of his adjacency to blackness play two new songs. I could be drawing* here but I feel like Justin is the white counterpart to Usher and since Usher is doing the Superbowl Justin gotta do something too. Sorta like how Jay would always find a song or album to drop when Nas dropped. Nas of course shook that off with that string of Hit Boy releases but it was a thing for a while.

But as of right now the biggest thing in rap news is Nicki Minaj responding to Megan Thee Stallion. If you know anything about Nicki’s fanbase it’s a whole lotta doxxing and dumb shit happening. I’m sure the songs are posted on USA Today or something at this point so you probably don’t need links to them.

Hit Boy has been having a banner year and we ain’t even out of the first month. A whole album with Benny? Yeah. I’m interested.

Masta Ace & Marco Polo dropped a new album and if you want the vinyl you can get it via Fat Beats. Blu went absolutely NUTS on his cameo.
